Tracey Albury has an Accounting Diploma from NAIT, has been in the accounting industry for almost 15 years, and has been with MCG for two years. As Controller, Tracey is responsible for financial management, policy development and management, team leadership, and budget management. She provides oversight and direction to accounting operations and handles internal and external financial reporting analysis, internal controls and auditing, and management of capital assets.
Interior Designer, Meghan
Meghan Basra has been with MCG Construction Ltd. for four years and is a BCIT graduate in Interior Design. Her primary role with MCG is to meet with clients to discuss the requirements for their space, and to design floor plans. She creates material boards, 3D designs, millwork designs, reflected ceiling plans and electrical plans. Meghan also orders specialty finishes, handles scheduling, and conducts site visits, managing the project throughout the interior design process.
Joe Cockram started with MCG in 2011 when he first moved to Canada. He was certified in Advanced Carpentry and apprenticed in the UK, where he also worked in residential construction for eight years. Another four years of commercial construction in Canada gives him nearly two decades of experience in the industry. As Superintendent with MCG, Joe is responsible for supervising work sites, training and leading staff, and completing skilled labor and trade work on projects.
Project Quality Assurance and Control Manager, Steve K
Steve Kresic has been MCG’s Project Quality Assurance and Control Inspector since 2014 and has been with the company since 2013. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations in 2000 and has worked in various project coordinator, estimator, and site supervision roles since that time. Steve is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining an organization wide quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) program and providing assistance to site supervisors.
Marcel Stang has been with MCG for more than three decades, since 1984. He is a journeyman ironworker metal building systems erector. As Foreman, Marcel is responsible and held accountable for overseeing all work on MCG projects and completing certain tasks on site. He delegates work and supervises staff while using his judgment to make the important decisions regarding safety, work quality, and project management.
General Manager, Achille (Kelly)
Achille (Kelly) Mazzotta has been with MCG for 13 years and holds an engineering degree in Metallurgy from the University of Alberta as well as a diploma in Materials Engineering Technology from NAIT. As General Manager, Kelly reports to the CEO and President and is responsible for estimates from inception to completion and review. Kelly recommends allowances for the unknown, for escalation, and for contingency fee structure. His key responsibilities include researching, planning, and preparing project estimates while collaborating with external architects and engineers.
Pasquale Naccarato is a certified Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter and ironworker metal building system erector. He started with MCG in 1980 and is responsible for supervising MCG Construction work sites, training and leading staff, and completing skilled labor and trade work on projects. Pasquale provides daily safety talks to construction crews and ensures that all workers are properly trained. He also completes daily reports and works closely with the site crew leader.
Project Manager, Anthony
Anthony Papaianni has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and has been with MCG for three years. He is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating projects while managing timelines, ordering materials and equipment required on each of MCG Construction’s work sites. Anthony also reports out to senior management on construction progress and budgets for each site. He conducts preplanning work and reports on the status of project plans, schedules, and goals.
Project Manager, Jonathan
Jonathan Papaianni has been with MCG Construction since September of 2014, and has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Management from MacEwan University. As the Project Manager with MCG, Jonathan is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating projects while managing timelines, ordering materials and equipment required on each of MCG Construction’s work sites. Other responsibilities include reporting out to senior management on construction progress and budgets for each site.
Office Manager, Taylor
Taylor started with MCG in 2017 and oversees the document control for the company and for all of its sites. She fills multiple roles as the document and drawing control coordinator and general administrative assistant. Taylor’s key responsibilities include organizing, tracking, and filing documents, maintaining records, offering input into document and drawing control policies, and providing administrative support to the project and construction management team.
